Kim graduated from Pennsylvania State University receiving a B.S. in Accountancy. She is a current New York State Certified Public Accountant.
Kim began her career with a top regional mid-sized public accounting firm in the NYC office. During her early years of her career, she had extensive exposure to both roles of a public accountant, auditor, and tax & compliance both focused on the financial services industry. In 2008, Kim transitioned to tax full time over the years she has gained valuable experience in various industries as she climbed the ranks at local mid-sized and small Public Accounting firms.
Currently she is a Sole Practitioner in Suffolk County, NY. Her firm provides accounting and tax services for closely held small businesses, preparation of individual income tax returns, estate, and trust tax returns. As well as offers tax planning for both businesses and individual clients. In addition, Kim has extensive experience assisting individuals and companies in resolving delinquent tax matters with the IRS and NYS Department of Taxation and Finance including tax liens, wage garnishments, and bank and brokerage account levies. This experience is a huge benefit to any client or taxpayer who may have compliance issues.
Kim’s goal is to help our clients understand what their overall financial picture is and how it relates to their tax returns. She believes any client must feel comfortable and be candid about themselves as a taxpayer as well as life event with their tax accountant. She welcomes the off-season visits to assist with mitigating tax implications of the events of the year or coming to her clients.
Kim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Tax Preparers.
